The Starfall was a short comic created for the anthology A Howl which showcased all indigenous comic writers and artists. I was asked to contribute a fantasy story within my world, so I created a bit of lore that comes from the beastkin history and religion.

This short comic follows the cursed soldier Kayda as she searches for the fates of her fallen friends, but a prominent figure from the war still haunts her.

I have hopes to continue with more installments of Kayda along with with other pieces of the Adanyian beastkin lore. It’s uncertain to them if this is what really took place or if it’s just a tale, but whatever did happen inspired the stories that had a profound impact on the beast and elf races alike for generations.
